Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Qualify deals in collaboration with Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and sales management
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer business requirements and technical environments
• Articulate business value through specific usage scenarios and technical demonstrations using Dataiku
• Design and execute Proof-of-Concepts (POC) and evaluations to demonstrate competitive advantages
• Provide technical guidance and answer complex questions for customer technical teams
• Support sales pipeline building through attendance at trade shows, industry conferences, and marketing campaigns

Requirements

• Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian
• 5+ years of experience with predictive modelling
• Strong understanding of relational data structures and SQL
• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proven experience in technical pre-sales or client-facing roles (e.g., consulting)
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the data science, analytics, or big data markets
• Proficiency in programming with Python or R
• Experience with Analytics/AI or other enterprise software platforms
