About the role

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the benefits of Menlo Security products and services for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Research technical requirements of channel-led opportunities to scope and architect solutions
  • Support Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Provide reporting and feedback on channel partners and field activities to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering
  • Work closely with channel partners to enable self-sufficiency and drive implementation and integration
  • Support channel-led marketing campaigns and events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering role
  • Deep knowledge of IT security technologies (Web, Email, Network, DLP, CASB, SIEM, EDR/XDR)
  • Proficiency in Malware Analysis and Digital Forensics
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture (Active Directory, SAML, MFA, PKI) and Cloud Services (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience managing technical responses to RFIs/RFPs and using SFDC
  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Japanese and English
  • Ability to travel overnight throughout Japan and the USA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity certifications such as ISC2, GIAC, or IPA
  • English certifications such as Eiken Grade Pre-1+ or TOEIC 800+
  • Familiarity with hacking tools, exploitation methodologies, and evasion techniques
