Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a critical technical and consultative resource throughout the sales process, helping prospective clients understand the value of Addepar's platform.
• Lead client presentations at the C-Suite level to demonstrate product advantages and capabilities.
• Support the sales team with the completion of RFPs and RFIs.
• Conduct "Proof of Concepts" by understanding business requirements, loading client data, and designing custom demo environments.
• Design technical solutions for prospective clients to address business needs and de-risk future implementation projects.
• Assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and budgetary estimates in collaboration with Professional Services, Data, and Legal teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the Addepar product, data platform, and implementation processes.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the Financial Services space, including roles in FinTech deployment, sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Experience working at SaaS companies in technical or deployment-focused roles.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with database concepts, SQL, Python, and APIs.
• Ability to grasp complex financial concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, relationships, and timelines.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom (visa sponsorship is not available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
