About the role

Responsibilities

  • Hire and lead a high-performing, inclusive team of 6-8 Product Specialist Account Executives to achieve quarterly targets
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing professional development to ensure team readiness and growth
  • Build close relationships with Mainline AEs, leaders, and Specialist Sales Engineers to maximize team selling and conversion
  • Monitor pipeline closely and partner with Mainline owners and ADRs to create account plans for whitespace attack
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and strategy to optimize GTM motion for new products
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the specialist support scales globally

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of owning complex selling motions from prospecting to close
  • 3+ years of experience managing sales teams
  • Expertise in complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and extended time frames
  • Strong track record of overachievement and experience coaching teams on outbound strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in overlay roles or managing new product launches
  • Experience working with Product and Marketing teams to influence GTM strategy
  • Ability to operate in strategic partnership with senior AEs and account teams
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Claude, Gong, and other key sales tools
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks
