About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the annual PRO Sales strategy for the Central territory, including quota planning and pipeline development
  • Deliver territory revenue and market share growth by expanding distributor, dealer, and integrator relationships
  • Lead and develop the independent sales agency supporting the territory
  • Accelerate adoption of Yale Pro and Connected Products across professional security and construction channels
  • Optimize the two-step distribution model by strengthening relationships across wholesalers and end users
  • Develop executive-level relationships with multifamily owners, REITs, builders, and developers
  • Partner with PropTech providers and connected ecosystem partners to support product integration
  • Execute pricing strategies and distributor incentive programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience
  • Experience within security, building products, or construction industries
  • Proven success driving growth through distributor or channel partner networks
  • Experience selling into multifamily, BTR, or professional security markets
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and reside within the assigned eight-state territory
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with smart home technologies, access control, or PropTech
  • Experience supporting technical product demonstrations and solution selling
  • Experience working within complex distribution environments
