About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build a functional team specialized in marketing and sales while interacting with technical personnel
  • Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility scales
  • Act as a domain expert on BESS and cooperate with parent ESS related parties
  • Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
  • Establish methods for tracking construction progress and new market identification
  • Participate in industry conferences and maintain connections to competitive market trends
  • Develop relationships with key technology vendors, procurement, construction, and EPC
  • Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development
  • 2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS
  • BA in Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working in a startup or similar environment
  • Global experience with an understanding of multicultural nuances
  • Excellent communication and networking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree
