About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of eight to twelve high-performing sales specialists focused on winning new SMB accounts for Clover solutions
- Drive a new-business operating cadence including daily activity targets and weekly pipeline generation goals
- Build a team culture centered on proactive outbound prospecting such as cold calling, social selling, and email outreach
- Manage pipeline standards including stage definitions, next-step rigor, and consistent CRM hygiene
- Coach and develop direct reports through ride-alongs, call reviews, and regular deal inspections
- Deliver accurate weekly forecasting and reporting regarding pipeline coverage and conversion rates
- Drive a high-volume outbound motion from territory targeting through to negotiation and close
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of successful SMB B2B sales and sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of new logo acquisition and outbound prospecting success
- Expertise in building and managing high-velocity pipelines and forecasting accuracy
- Strong proficiency in CRM hygiene and pipeline management
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience within the merchant services industry
- Experience in SaaS or software sales
- Ability to embody and encourage a trusted-advisor approach to B2B sales
