About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of eight to twelve high-performing sales specialists focused on winning new SMB accounts for Clover solutions
- Drive a new-business operating cadence including daily activity targets, weekly pipeline generation, and monthly bookings
- Build a team culture centered on proactive outbound prospecting such as cold calling, social selling, and email outreach
- Manage pipeline standards, stage definitions, and Salesforce hygiene to ensure an actionable and trustworthy pipeline
- Coach and develop direct reports through ride-alongs, call reviews, and regular deal inspections
- Deliver accurate weekly forecasting and reporting regarding pipeline coverage, conversion rates, and key risks
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of successful SMB B2B sales and sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of new logo acquisition and high-velocity outbound prospecting
- Expertise in pipeline management, including qualification, stage progression, and forecasting accuracy
- Strong ability to develop talent through structured coaching and performance management
- Proficiency with Salesforce and CRM hygiene
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience within the merchant services industry
- Experience in SaaS or software sales
- Ability to embody and encourage a trusted-advisor approach to B2B sales
