About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Defence Sector.
  • Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage a combination of hunting for new clients and farming existing accounts to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to win deals.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships across System Integrators, Cloud platform providers, and Consultancy organizations.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the EMEA Public Sector team.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of positioning and selling enterprise software.
  • Deep expertise and understanding of the UK Defence Sector, including operational and buying processes.
  • Existing professional relationships within the UK Defence landscape.
  • Experience building partnerships with ecosystem players like System Integrators and Cloud providers.
  • Ability to adopt a consultative, "advise and solutionize" approach with customers.
  • Must hold current SC clearance or have the ability and willingness to obtain SC (and potentially DV) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within complex and difficult procurement environments.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lead opportunities by integrating effectively with cross-functional sales teams.
