Sales Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the deployment of regional sales strategies, objectives, and goals for the Optical Communications segment.
• Manage executive relationships in key accounts to maximize sales penetration and customer retention.
• Direct the development and execution of integrated account plans that provide customers with technical solutions and products.
• Coordinate with regional sales organizations to define negotiating positions and close contract agreements.
• Assess regional sales performance and modify strategies or account plans to improve results.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Product Line Management, and Legal, to implement long-term sales agreements.
• Deploy talent management processes to develop and manage sales teams across different countries and languages.
• Collect and disseminate sales best practices and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in key account development and management.
• Extensive work experience in international markets.
• Demonstrated experience managing global teams and coordinating resources across different cultures and regions.
• A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Demonstrated track record of compliance with sales policies and related regulations.
• Willingness to travel frequently for business.
• Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive internal support through effective teamwork and coordination.
