Sales Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the energy-sector GTM strategy to build a qualified pipeline and close new annual revenue.
• Shape, pitch, and close digital transformation and AI-driven modernization programs within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Build deep relationships with senior energy leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, and VPs of Digital, Data, and AI.
• Drive high-discipline sales operations, including deal reviews, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene.
• Mentor and coach the presales team on consultative enterprise selling techniques.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Delivery, Marketing, and Product to shape winning proposals.
• Execute partner-driven sales motions with major cloud providers and ISVs.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of enterprise selling experience with a consistent track record of quota achievement.
• 10+ years of experience selling specifically into the Oil & Gas industry (upstream, midstream, downstream, etc.).
• Proven expertise in selling AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, MLOps, and Data Engineering solutions.
• Strong experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
• BA/BS degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience executing co-selling motions and marketplace selling with partners like Databricks, Snowflake, or NVIDIA.
• Deep domain knowledge in predictive maintenance, supply-chain optimization, and digital twin solutions for the energy sector.
