Sales Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the energy-sector GTM strategy to build an $8-10M qualified pipeline and close $3-4M in new annual revenue.
• Shape, pitch, and close digital transformation and AI-driven modernization programs for Oil & Gas clients.
• Build deep relationships with senior energy leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, and VPs of Digital, Data, and AI.
• Drive high-discipline sales operations, including deal reviews, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene.
• Mentor presales consultants on enterprise selling techniques and multi-stakeholder deal orchestration.
• Execute partner-driven growth through co-selling motions with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and other key ISVs.
• Sell complex solutions involving AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, MLOps, and Digital Twin technologies.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of enterprise selling experience with a consistent track record of quota achievement.
• 10+ years of experience selling specifically into the Oil & Gas sector (upstream, midstream, downstream, or petrochemical).
• Proven expertise in selling AI/ML, GenAI, Data Engineering, and Data Platform solutions.
• Strong experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• BA/BS degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Deep experience in value engineering and developing business cases for AI adoption and governance.
• Established relationships with major technology partners like Databricks, Snowflake, or NVIDIA.
