Responsibilities
- Build and own pipeline through high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Research market trends and identify fresh business opportunities within assigned territories
- Partner with Account Executives to develop territory strategy and qualify opportunities
- Utilize Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to manage daily activity and leads
- Articulate OpenGov's value proposition to government decision-makers
- Attend trade shows and government events to build relationships
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure strong lead-to-opportunity conversion
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive drive and curiosity about technology and government
- Interest in AI and its application in the public sector
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Background in B2B, SaaS, finance, budgeting, or government
