Responsibilities

  • Build and own pipeline through high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Research market trends and identify fresh business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop territory strategy and qualify opportunities
  • Utilize Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to manage daily activity and leads
  • Articulate OpenGov's value proposition to government decision-makers
  • Attend trade shows and government events to build relationships
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure strong lead-to-opportunity conversion

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or similar communication-heavy environments
  • Strong natural communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive drive and curiosity regarding technology and government operations
  • Interest in AI and its application in the public sector
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus

  • Background in B2B, SaaS, finance, budgeting, or government sectors
