About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound outreach.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales Representatives to execute strategic account plans and ensure effective territory coverage.
  • Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales professionals in a timely and structured manner to ensure seamless deal progression.
  • Partner with sales and marketing stakeholders to co-design outreach campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate pipeline growth.
  • Conduct detailed research to gather account intelligence and client needs to support tailored sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all sales activities and pipeline progress within CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Early career experience in sales, business development, or account management within software, data, or financial services.
  • Full professional fluency in both German and English (written and verbal).
  • Foundational knowledge of or a strong interest in fixed-income credit markets or financial software solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident phone manner with well-developed objection-handling and rapport-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and an interest in using AI tools to drive process efficiency.
