About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop subject matter expertise in Customer Experience Management to support and coach prospects
  • Build key relationships and collaborate with field sales representatives to generate new pipeline
  • Establish rapport and build strong relationships with senior executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs)
  • Research client needs and effectively communicate Medallia’s value proposition
  • Own documentation for prospects, including use cases, lead scores, and purchase timeframes
  • Partner with Marketing to drive attendance to events, tradeshows, and webinars
  • Generate and engage a high volume of new leads in a timely manner
  • Manage and forecast leads using Salesforce.com

Requirements

  • Fluency in German is required
  • Experience in a client-facing role such as sales, business development, or account management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ months of outbound prospecting experience
  • Proficiency in an additional language (Italian, Spanish, or French)
  • Experience working in a SaaS or IT company
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders from the frontline to the C-Suite
