About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise in Customer Experience Management to support and coach prospects
- Build key relationships and collaborate with field sales representatives to generate new pipeline
- Establish rapport and build strong relationships with senior executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs)
- Research client needs and effectively communicate Medallia’s value proposition
- Own documentation for prospects, including use cases, lead scores, and purchase timeframes
- Partner with Marketing to drive attendance to events, tradeshows, and webinars
- Generate and engage a high volume of new leads in a timely manner
- Manage and forecast leads using Salesforce.com
Requirements
- Fluency in German is required
- Experience in a client-facing role such as sales, business development, or account management
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ months of outbound prospecting experience
- Proficiency in an additional language (Italian, Spanish, or French)
- Experience working in a SaaS or IT company
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders from the frontline to the C-Suite
