About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by working with marketing and account executives to prioritize strategic opportunities
  • Demonstrate the value of Flexport's offerings through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other social channels
  • Research target companies and prepare executive summaries to assist Account Executives in developing business opportunities
  • Diligently update Salesforce to maintain accurate records of leads and follow-ups
  • Shadow Account Executives in meetings to acquire the skills necessary for advancement within the sales team

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional working experience in Sales, Business Development, Client Success, or Consulting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects and engaging with new people daily
  • A "compliance-first" attitude to navigate a heavily regulated industry
