About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by working with marketing and account executives to prioritize strategic opportunities
- Demonstrate the value of Flexport's offerings through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other social channels
- Research target companies and prepare executive summaries to assist Account Executives in developing business opportunities
- Diligently update Salesforce to maintain accurate records of leads and follow-ups
- Shadow Account Executives in meetings to acquire the skills necessary for advancement within the sales team
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional working experience in Sales, Business Development, Client Success, or Consulting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects and engaging with new people daily
- A "compliance-first" attitude to navigate a heavily regulated industry
