Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads by making 100+ cold calls per day to build and manage the lead development pipeline
• Prospect into multiple organizations via cold-calling, networking, email, and internet information sources
• Qualify sales leads based on specific criteria and schedule introductory meetings for Sales VPs
• Research prospective accounts to understand needs, build target lists, and develop effective scripts
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records by logging prospecting activities and updating account intelligence
• Collaborate with Marketing to coordinate lead generation efforts and nurture opportunities through the sales funnel

Requirements

• 2 years of business experience
• Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, listening, and cold calling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and maintain high activity levels to achieve monthly and quarterly goals
• Strong business acumen and the ability to influence decision-makers

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience using Salesforce.com
• Experience or passion for selling in the SMB/SME space
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases
