Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and event-driven outreach
• Research target accounts and personas to deliver personalized outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
• Run discovery conversations with security leaders to understand pain points and qualify fit
• Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to develop account strategies
• Represent Artemis at industry events, conferences, and meetups
• Track activity and pipeline progression in CRM
• Test and iterate on messaging, sequences, and channels
• Share market feedback with marketing, product, and leadership

Requirements

• 1–3 years of sales development or outbound prospecting experience
• Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise B2B SaaS preferred
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity categories (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, etc.)
• Track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline and meeting targets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical buyers
• Self-starter mindset comfortable with limited playbooks
• Proficiency with modern sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience selling to CISOs, security architects, or SOC leaders
• Background or certifications in cybersecurity (Security+, CISSP coursework)
• Experience at an early-stage startup
• Familiarity with AI-driven security tools
