About the role
Responsibilities
- Train to become an expert in Vertiv’s solutions, including AC power and thermal products
- Spend the first year as an Application Engineer providing technical support to sales teams and customers
- Assist with product customization approvals and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Participate in inbound and outbound customer calls to determine technical requirements
- Utilize sales tools such as product configurators, proposal development tools, and MS Power BI
- Conduct presentations and training sessions for colleagues and sales teams
- Travel to field sales offices and support customer-facing meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Strong written and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically spreadsheets and databases
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work onsite in Delaware, OH, and a willingness to relocate upon program completion
