About the Company
Norwood Waterworks Edmonton is Alberta's largest Underground Utilities Distributor. As part of the Emco Corporation, Norwood enjoys the support of being part of a national company while enjoying the autonomy of a decentralized company structure that allows for quick decision making at the local level.
Responsibilities
This is a comprehensive 2-year program designed to train future Account Managers through four key segments:
- Warehouse (6 months): Develop product knowledge, shipping, receiving, and order logistics.
- Operations (3 months): Manage the inside counter, interact with customers, and manage physical inventory.
- Inside Sales (9 months): Work with customers and vendors, manage procurement, project estimation, and pricing.
- Account Manager (6 months): Work with Outside Account Managers to develop skills in contract negotiations and sales cycles.
Requirements
- College and/or University degree
- Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
