About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales development and drive customer qualifications for advanced battery anode materials (BAM)
  • Support the commercialization of materials for lithium-ion batteries in the EV and energy storage markets
  • Manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and advance product qualifications
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, including contracts, pricing, and supply agreements
  • Develop and execute global sales strategies and manage long sales cycles
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to provide strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, specifically within battery materials or EV/ESS industries
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales and value-based selling
  • Direct experience working with automotive OEMs or battery cell manufacturers
  • Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery technology and the anode materials value chain
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing complex supply chains and strategic relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multilingual capabilities and international business experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Experience in public speaking and delivering customer presentations at trade shows
