About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and engage new accounts with zero current business to drive new business acquisition.
  • Develop and execute territory strategies to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact and cold calling to contract close.
  • Manage the sales funnel using SFDC and perform account analysis via PowerBI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Finance to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Plan and manage the sales performance of third-party distributor sales forces within the assigned territory.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and territory planning through regular business reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of proven success in relevant sales experience.
  • A documented track record of successful competitive conversions, from lead generation to close.
  • Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor, including complex selling and execution.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 50% (including overnight travel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Previous medical sales experience, ideally within the diagnostics field.
  • Understanding of laboratory and point-of-care settings, health system operations, and health economics.
  • Experience working with Distribution Partners.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze healthcare market data.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.
