About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and engage new accounts with zero current business to drive new business acquisition.
- Develop and execute territory strategies to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities.
- Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact and cold calling to contract close.
- Manage the sales funnel using SFDC and perform account analysis via PowerBI.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Finance to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Plan and manage the sales performance of third-party distributor sales forces within the assigned territory.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and territory planning through regular business reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of proven success in relevant sales experience.
- A documented track record of successful competitive conversions, from lead generation to close.
- Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor, including complex selling and execution.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 50% (including overnight travel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Previous medical sales experience, ideally within the diagnostics field.
- Understanding of laboratory and point-of-care settings, health system operations, and health economics.
- Experience working with Distribution Partners.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze healthcare market data.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.
