About the role
Responsibilities
- Confirm order details with customers and sales representatives, including delivery addresses and quantities
- Order stock from suppliers and manage stock movements for customer orders
- Enter contracts, subaccounts, and orders into the system
- Liaise with customers to arrange timely delivery of goods
- Track open orders by monitoring stock levels, delivery dates, and payments
- Provide administrative support to sales representatives
- Arrange returns of goods when necessary
- Maintain strong product knowledge and professional contact with stakeholders
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar capacity or strong retail sales experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload
- Ability to work unsupervised while remaining a team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Great Plains
