Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on their specific goals
• Provide product information, practical training, and answer questions regarding pricing and availability
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues such as out-of-stock or special order items
• Perform administrative duties including preparing sales budgets, maintaining records, and processing credits
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable in coordination with the credit department

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of sales, chef/restaurant management, or related hospitality experience
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Current automobile insurance with required liability limits
• Ability to pass employment testing

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience
• Restaurant management or Chef experience
• Bi-lingual skills
