Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business
• Conduct in-person visits and product demonstrations to existing and potential customers
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and tailored solutions
• Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, and presentations
• Manage customer orders with a focus on sales growth and margin maximization
• Analyze daily and weekly sales and margin reports to identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date bid files, customer profiles, and call sheets to ensure pricing accuracy
• Coordinate with inside sales and accounts receivable to resolve customer issues and manage collections

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• 2-year background in food service and/or sales strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in the meat and seafood category or a culinary background
• Proven consultative sales ability
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without constant supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, agriculture, or animal science
