Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth
• Research customer business needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
• Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on customer goals and market conditions
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues such as out-of-stock items
• Perform administrative duties including preparing sales budgets, reports, and maintaining records
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, OR HSD/GED with 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales experience
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must be willing to reside or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef
• Bi-lingual skills
