Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from initial contact through delivery and beyond
• Assist customers in selecting furniture by understanding their needs and helping them create inviting homes
• Build and maintain customer relationships through professional follow-up and CRM management
• Collaborate with Interior Design Consultants to reinforce customer selections and complete room looks
• Provide expertise regarding products, services, and financing options
• Utilize company-provided tablets and proprietary technology for customer communication and data entry
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various furniture styles and product lines

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple customer interactions
• Proficiency with email and computer systems; MS Office and iPad/Tablet operation preferred
• Ability to work retail hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move more than 20 pounds
• 1–3 years of retail sales experience is preferred, particularly in commissioned roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture sales or interior design
• Creative flair and an energetic, positive personality
• Proven ability to resolve customer objections and ensure high satisfaction
