Sales Consultant Associate

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the Unum business environment to support customer acquisition and retention
• Develop and build strong relationships with insurance brokers, agents, and consultants within an assigned territory
• Acquire deep knowledge of Unum’s group and voluntary product portfolio to position sales solutions effectively
• Build a pipeline of opportunities to support the small case market
• Assist in the enrollment process for new and existing customers
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Quote Unum teams to understand negotiation and business pricing
• Prepare and present block reviews for top brokers
• Obtain necessary insurance licenses in assigned states during the development period

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel on a limited basis
• Ability to obtain required insurance licenses
