About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sales and business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in chemicals, refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and legal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development within industrial gases, EPC, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Extensive experience executing complex sales strategies for large-scale industrial projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • Strong understanding of gasification, syngas, hydrogen, and carbon capture technologies.
