Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service to meet world-class standards
• Achieve established sales goals and maintain knowledge of current promotions
• Assist customers with special services including gift wrap, registries, and special orders
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build sales and increase productivity
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge regarding features and benefits
• Perform register transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and stockroom organization
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
• Weekend availability (must be available for at least two separate days, such as Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday)
• Ability to work a minimum of two weekday shifts in addition to weekend shifts
