About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
- Sort, price, and organize incoming donations to maintain inventory quality
- Assist with store layout, including window displays and merchandise arrangement
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
- Monitor store security and assist with stock rotation and replenishment
- Handle merchandise safely, including loading and unloading donations
Requirements
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Previous experience in customer service or goods processing
- Proven experience with cash handling and cash register operations
- Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
