Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Process donations by loading, unloading, sorting, packing, and baling materials
• Interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Assist with inventory management, including hanging clothing and restocking merchandise
• Select and price donations based on established quality standards and company policy
• Maintain store appearance by cleaning, sweeping, dusting, and organizing shelves
• Contribute to store safety by monitoring activity and maintaining clear exits
• Work collaboratively with volunteers and team members to meet sales targets

Requirements

• Completion of Grade Nine or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 3 months of related experience
• Proven experience with cash handling
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Mandatory use of steel-toe safety boots or shoes
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and reaching
