Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
• Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise organization
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
• Unload donations and assist donors with their contributions
• Monitor store activity to ensure security and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
