About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
- Sort, price, hang, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
- Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise organization
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
- Unload donations and assist donors with their contributions
- Monitor store activity to ensure security and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
- Proven experience with cash handling and cash registers
- Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
