Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed sales and profit goals by developing customers via lead follow-up and marketing initiatives
• Identify new construction and renovation projects by interfacing with architectural and construction engineering firms
• Develop and maintain architectural and engineering contacts to create product specifications for projects
• Build and sustain relationships with contractors, distributors, and end users
• Provide technical support to contractors during the bidding and installation of Sika products
• Develop thorough knowledge of all Sika products to assist customers with selection and application techniques
• Support marketing efforts including trade shows, exhibits, and other industry events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work with distributors and architects
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Knowledge of the construction or building materials industry
• Understanding of value selling and commitment to quality customer service
