Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sell Sika products within the Southern California territory
• Interface with architectural and construction engineering firms to identify new projects
• Attain or exceed sales and profit goals through lead follow-up and marketing initiatives
• Develop thorough product knowledge to assist customers with selection and application
• Provide technical support to contractors during bidding and installation processes
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and architects
• Support marketing efforts including trade shows and industry events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong desire to build a career in the construction or building materials industry
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and end users
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to temporarily relocate for training purposes
