Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a Color & Curl expert, providing professional advice and product recommendations to customers.
• Drive sales and brand awareness through customer relationship management and product education.
• Conduct product demonstrations and consulting services for professional beauty salons, barbers, and spas.
• Maintain high standards for color and curl merchandising, including signage and display techniques.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
• Stay updated on emerging beauty trends to provide expert insights to business partners.

Requirements

• One year of retail or sales-focused experience.
• Ability to pass the Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation to service designated stores and markets.
• Ability to travel to industry shows or sales meetings at least three times per year.
• Proficiency with POS applications, mobile devices, iPads, and social media platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional image.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist.
• Experience with inventory control systems and visual merchandising.
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret sales reporting.
