Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service to customers in person and via phone or mobile devices
• Welcome customers with a warm demeanor and assist them in finding merchandise to create an exceptional shopping experience
• Process sales transactions, special orders, exchanges, and returns using the prAna POS system
• Maintain a deep understanding of the prAna product line to enthusiastically inform customers about apparel and accessories
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, order processing, and stock room organization
• Support the management team with weekly housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Execute merchandising, floor resets, and visual merchandising directives to elevate the customer experience
• Follow all inventory control, loss prevention, and safety protocols

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to frequently adjust or move items weighing up to 40lbs
• Ability to remain stationary and move about the store to communicate with customers and co-workers

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience
• Experience in specialty retail, activewear, or outdoor apparel
