Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly, helpful, and solution-focused service to build trust and loyalty
• Assist pet parents in selecting products and services that meet their pets' specific needs
• Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and shopping environment
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory integrity and merchandising tasks

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach frequently
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
