Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, courteous, and knowledgeable service to pet parents
• Educate customers on products, services, and promotions to help them make informed choices
• Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards
• Assist with inventory replenishment, stocking shelves, and merchandising
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
