Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards
• Greet customers and provide friendly, solution-focused service to help them find the right products
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and assist with inventory integrity
• Educate pet parents on products, services, and current promotions

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach frequently throughout a shift
