Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, solution-focused service to help pet parents find the right products.
• Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and shopping environment.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Assist with inventory tasks including stocking shelves, replenishing merchandise, and merchandising set-ups.
• Educate customers on various pet products, services, and current promotions.

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise or animals weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
