Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, solution-focused service to help pet parents find the right products.
• Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor through regular stocking and merchandising.
• Educate customers on various products, services, and current promotions.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and maintaining stock accuracy.

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach frequently throughout a shift.
