Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by providing personal, genuine service and expert product knowledge.
• Drive sales and brand loyalty through exceptional customer interactions.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) systems and mobile devices to provide seamless omni-channel service.
• Maintain store standards, including organization, visual merchandising, and operational processes.
• Promote company initiatives such as the Outdoor Discovery Program and L.L.Bean Mastercard.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve results and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge and passion for hunting (upland, waterfowl, big game, etc.) or fishing (fly and spin).
• Familiarity with sporting firearms or an understanding of fishing tackle and techniques.
• Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of a shift.
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally move objects up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in archery.
• Familiarity with Maine fresh and saltwater gamefish species.
• Experience in paddlesports or boating.
