Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in designing ideal furniture combinations and suggesting suitable products
• Utilize IKEA Home Planner to assist and coach customers and colleagues
• Provide cost estimates and timelines for kitchen projects
• Manage kitchen planning, buying processes, and service offerings like delivery and installation
• Resolve issues arising during the planning or installation phase
• Cross-check kitchen drawings to minimize potential errors
• Coordinate with kitchen service providers to ensure timely delivery and installation
• Support managers in executing commercial plans, activities, and promotions

Requirements

• Experience in planning, designing, and selling furniture in a retail environment
• Relevant IKEA sales experience, preferably in kitchen furniture and accessories
• Proficiency with floor plans, kitchen site measurement, and IKEA Kitchen planning
• Ability to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong interest in sales and home furnishing
