Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Support customers by offering help and guidance when needed
• Understand customers’ needs and recommend the best solutions for their homes
• Use different IKEA sales and communication channels to serve customers effectively
• Maintain a clean, organised, well-priced, and fully stocked sales area
• Learn about IKEA products and confidently share product knowledge with customers and coworkers
• Understand store and department goals and contribute to achieving them
• Drive sales by promoting top-selling and priority products while supporting store profitability

Requirements

• Malaysian citizenship
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Availability for a long-term part-time role (more than 3 months)
• Good communication skills
• Confidence in approaching and speaking with customers
• Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
• Experience in customer service or retail is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
