Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional shopping experience by assisting customers and answering questions about merchandise
• Manage merchandise presentation by displaying items on shelves, counters, or tables to promote sales
• Handle stock operations including receiving, unpacking, and issuing sales floor merchandise
• Compare merchandise invoices to received items to ensure shipment accuracy
• Maintain inventory levels by stocking shelves, racks, and bins and identifying items for replenishment
• Maintain store cleanliness by cleaning display cases, shelves, and aisles

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in stock or warehouse operations
• Proficiency with retail operating systems, PCs, and scanning equipment
• Strong time management skills and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and in stock rooms for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to handle, place, ship, and receive merchandise
