Sales Associate, Discovery Shop

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through greetings, sales assistance, and carry-out help
• Manage cashiering duties, including register counts and end-of-day income reporting
• Process incoming donations by receiving items, providing receipts, and assisting donors with carry-ins
• Maintain shop appearance by dusting, vacuuming, straightening racks, and refreshing displays
• Sort, steam, price, and merchandise donated items on the sales floor
• Support shop volunteers and assist with daily operational functions

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in retail, including sales and cashiering
• Experience with merchandising and inventory presentation
• Strong communication and customer relation skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
