About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance
- Recommend suitable linen and décor items based on customer needs
- Provide product information regarding materials, sizes, prices, and care instructions
- Maintain proper product displays and ensure the shop is tidy and well-organized
- Handle sales transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the manager
- Participate in inventory counts
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Ensure products are handled with care to avoid damage
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales (preferably in linen, décor, or home accessories)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Friendly, presentable, and team-oriented personality
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
