Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Engage consumers in personalized conversations to understand their needs and provide product recommendations
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by sharing the Columbia Sportswear story and embodying company values
• Merchandise products and maintain sales floor standards to ensure full product presentation and accessibility
• Perform cash register transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, accurately and efficiently
• Contribute to inventory accuracy by receiving and processing incoming and outgoing products
• Connect customers to company loyalty programs during the checkout process

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience engaging consumers
• Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) and inventory systems
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally
